My teaching philosophy is that yoga allows you to make space in your body and your life for yourself. Often we experience daily stress or larger traumas that are stored in our bodies, creating disconnect, confusion, discord. Through our yoga practice, we recreate and reinforce union between our bodies and our higher selves. This allows us to more fully be in the world and more honestly engage with those around us, keeping us peaceful and content despite ever shifting environments. Creating space for yourself to be is one of the most important aspects of yoga in my own practice, and the effect I encourage other practitioners to explore.
